Week 17: Rita Hayworth is a Babe. My Femme Fatale Look.

Inspired by Rita Hayworth's style (see here) and bold 40s makeup, I have created this modern look with a very glamorous Old Hollywood feel. I am wearing a Walter Baker beaded dress with an extremely sexy open back, and put on my ALL TIME FAVOURITE Anastasia Beverly Hills liquid matte lipstick in Sad Girl. This lipstick stays on the whole day and the colour is just pure burgundy perfection.

P.S. If you don't own a pair of Slithur heels by Steve Madden, get it now! It is the most comfortable pair of heels I ever had. I walked 6(!) hours on them that day. I give up on my Pigalles after just 30 minutes :)

Week 14: Park City. Zara Dress, Sunflowers and the White Barn

Today I am sharing a perfect summertime look with you that was shot next to the famous White Barn in Park City. I bought this dress and hat from Zara a few weeks ago (how amazing is their new summer collection?!) and I think they go together perfectly. Hats have become my new obsession and I have purchased at least 6 new headpieces in the last two months, so be prepared to see much more new looks with hats soon :)

Week 11: Instagram Babe. LACE-UP Your Life

The 11th week on the blog is dedicated to Instagram and its Instafamous babes. Today I want to share my hot NYC look with you - a tight white crop top, denim shorts and my new lace-up boots that I am wearing for the first time.

Lace-up is one of the biggest trends on Instagram and you can see the most followed beauties rocking everything from lace up high boots to extremely revealing lace-up tops and dresses. I am a fan of this sexy style detail as well, so it was fun for me to experiment with my outfit. Yes, the look is quite daring, and I definitely turned few dozens of heads while shooting, but I think it is very well suited for LA or Miami. I think my pastiche of an "Instagram babe" has been successful! :)

Outfit: River Island shorts (similar here and here), Lace up Boots - Daisy Street, top- Topshop (here and here, Bag - Lady Dior (here), Michael Kors watches.

Week 5: Star Wars. Princess Leia in NYC

Star Wars themed photoshoot. Ulia Ali as Princess Leia.

Princess Leia (or shall we call her General Leia after the Force Awakens?) is one of the most iconic characters in film history. Her sultry slave costume look is still on my list of 'Halloween outfits to wear' and her hairstyles are hard to forget (and recreate too!)

The most memorable Leia's hairstyle is side buns, and they were apparently inspired by photographs of native American women. These ones in particular:

I wanted to try 'Leia's side buns' hairstyle for a long time, and I finally managed to find great video tutorials and got a help from a friend Agnes. And I am so happy with the results!

At the beginning I was planning to wear a white turtleneck dress, similar to what Leia wore in Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope, however, I thought it would be more challenging and fun if I wear something Star Wars inspired, but more appropriate for New York and our galaxy :)

Week 5: Star Wars. My Endor Look

star-wars-look-force-girls-hot-cosplay-endor

I won't lie, it has been quite a challenge for me to create a Star Wars inspired look without looking like a cosplay girl. I love cosplay and will definitely try few 'roles' on in the future, however a really good costume takes a lot of time to custom-made, and it is definitely not a cheap option (high quality Jedi costume is,in average, over 300$).

So I have decided to wear something that I can imagine someone wearing in Star Wars' realm. My choice fell on this beautiful real suede Walter Baker dress.

The rain on Monday was absolutely crazy, therefore my attempt on creating a mesh-up version of Leia's and Rey's hairstyle was a little bit ruined. Despite all that, I believe the photographs turned out to be fun, my hair is appropriate to the theme and the Central Park indeed looks like the planet of Endor. By the way, I left some little silly story under the pictures. Check it out and let me know what do you think :)

Oh, captain, how kind of you to offer me this Ewok fur jacket! Yes, I am here all by myself. Haven't seen anyone, sir. Would you want me to show you the way to the city? (leads the captain in the opposite direction of where her friends ran).&nb…
