Theme 46. REVOLVE Outfits. Dresses for a Date and Summer Trips to Europe

Dear Online Girlfriend, every time I shop online I have no idea if I will look as good as the models pictured. Previously I shared a few articles with my reviews with side to side photos of me and the beautiful models (click here to access all honest Revolve reviews). After years of ordering from REVOLVE, I learnt what fabrics and cuts suits me the best and which styles I probably should avoid (those mini sweater dresses? Most of the time are too short on me, which I demonstrated in previous posts. Bear in mind, I am only 5’ 5” = 165 cm! ).

Right now, we are in the heat of the summer season and if lucky, vacations and trips to Europe. The outfits I am about to review will be perfect for all your hot weather and early fall romantic getaways, girls trips and date nights (and days). Vintage Romance

Pack this perfect vintage style brown polka dot dress on a getaway to Italy or for a sumptuous al-fresco dinner date in your city.

I have been eyeing this vintage-style LPA polka dot dress for a bit, and when I finally put it on I immediately felt that this is the dress I will not get bored of for many many years!

It slightly reminds of the iconic Pretty Woman look, the one Julia Roberts wore for a polo match, and has a flattering cut that makes your waist look tiny. It is easy to adjust how tight you want your waistline to be snatched by the tie.

It is a bit on pricey side, but looks so chic and timeless that it will serve for a long time.

Speaking of polka dots, I finally succumbed and got another bestselling Majorelle Brady Dress, and it looked better than I imagined!

While this sexy tube dress with a slit is flattering, there is a way less room to “breathe”. There is no zipper or buttons, so prepare to squeeze into the dress.

I wore it on my vacation on Mexico City. I also think it will be a wonderful addition in a wardrobe of a bride, whether for a honeymoon, bridal shower or bachelorette parties.

Other Polka Dot styles I love are below. I actually have the Bellah Mini dress and so happy to see it back in stock. Hands down one of my MOST worn summer mini dresses. Easy to put on, not to short and looks very pretty. I am giving it 10/10!

This Harmony dress by h:ours is definitely a risque choice, but it is a KILLER look for a sexy date with your man or a night out with friends if you are feeling daring.

The top part sits a bit higher than I wished for, but overall it is an amazingly seductive twist on a little black dress.

Theme 46. REVOLVE Outfits. November Looks, Must Haves and new Revolve brands!

Dear Online Girlfriend, the weather is getting colder, which means that we are on the hunt for cozy clothes! It became a little blog tradition for me to share real reviews on clothes I order from Revolve and show how they look in real life VS how they look on models. Last time I shared with you my special date night outfits and today I thought I will show you some of my new must haves for this cold weather season and a couple of new Revolve brands that JUST launched!

MORE TO COME - NEW BRAND ON REVOLVE

Let’s start with a new brand that really surprised me with the quality and price - MORE TO COME . I ordered Tanya lace bodysuit that can be worn out or as a lingerie piece if you are not quite ready for something so revealing in public :) It is getting sold out very quickly as it is very well priced on top of being gorgeous, but I suggest you check out other pieces from More to Come (click here!)

I paired Tanya bodysuit with Liv Midi Skirt that is sold out now, but make sure you get on the list for when it is coming back. It is one of the best skirts I ever had; it goes with EVERYTHING, is flattering and the quality is amazing.

And I also wore House of Harlow 1960 Aiden Boot with my all black REVOLVE look. These black boots are gorgeous and I love the quality of the leather, but be aware that it doesn’t have a zipper. You will have to pull boots off you when you come home, but after couple of times it is quite easy. And I know it is a matter of a preference, but I think boots without a zipper on a side look more sophisticated.

Midi Skirts (with or without a slit) are a great addition to any wardrobe. Just one right skirt can help you create so many different looks for YEARS to come. Make sure you find the right size and fabric. In addition to Liv Midi Skirt I have two faux leather midi skirts from Superdown and I cannot express how great I think this Jezabel Midi Skirt Style is. Another brand that just landed on REVOLVE is Revolve Tennis Club that has the cutest sweatshirts, tennis skirts, workout clothes and tshirts. I got Varsity Green cropped sweatshirt and the softest white tennis skort. Check out their other pieces! I think it will quickly become a trendy must have for all the sport events and tennis games.

And while we are on the subject of cute sweatshirts and hoodies, I am in love with this unique Martine corset hoodie.

I love wearing mini sweater dresses with boots in winter, however I must warn you that short dresses that you order online might not look like you expected. Sometimes the dresses look way shorter. I still love these two dresses (especially the white one!), but I just wanted to be honest about the risky length of certain sweater styles. Dear Online Girlfriend, here I am again with some new reviews on clothes from our beloved Revolve. Last time I shared with you some of my favorite summer looks, perfect for a vacation, and today I thought I will post some date night/day looks. It is still summer, so we will focus on warm weather outfits, but make sure to check my blog in a month or two for some fall looks!

LBD? How about MBD (Midi Black Dress)?!

Let’s start with this QUEEN of the dresses! This Pagne Midi Dress by h:ours is an absolute show stopper! I have received so many compliments when I wore this dress and I felt incredibly sexy, yet loved how sophisticated and classy this look is at the same time. I think every woman has at least one classic little black dress, but this one shoulder midi dress with a side slit is an absolute must have! The material is thick; it fits PERFECTLY. Please do yourself a favour and go get it before it is sold out!

We will get to wearing a lot of dark colors and neutral shades in the upcoming fall and winter season, but while it is still hot I really recommend putting on a nice colorful mini dress or a matching set! Whether it is a last summer weekend in the Hamptons, a big labor day party or just a lovely summer date brunch, you will definitely stand out in a dress like THIS! This teal color is so gorgeous and the material of this Superdown dress is very silky and pleasant and overall this draped dress looks luxurious and more expensive than it is (it is only $74!). It comes in three colors.

Tie-Dye till I die

I will be honest with you, dear online girlfriend, I have never been a big tie-dye trend fan. I purposefully avoid it and don’t think I owned any tie-dye pieces until I saw this Krystal Superdown dress. This color is STUNNING and elegant! I already wore this dress so many times that I have to stop recording Instagram Stories in it because it is getting out of hand :) I wore it out with heels for a dinner, I wore it for my real estate Open House with sandals, with cowboy boots, a cropped jacket and a hat for a stroll in the city… It always looks so different! It is simple to just put on, easy to accessorize and the material is silky and feels amazing on my skin. It also hugs my body in all the right places. What not to love?! It is definitely one of my top favorite dresses at the moment and it is only $88. I HIGHLY recommend it!

My white heels are also from Revolve. They are Julie heels by Raye and very comfortable. I like them so much that I ordered them in black color as well!

Silky Smooth

As you can tell, I am a bit obsessed with everything light and silky at the moment. I think an elegant silky blouse or a top is a must have in every woman’s wardrobe, especially in some neutral light shades. When I received Scottie One shoulder top (only $55!) I was pleasantly surprised as the the wrap tie makes the top adjustable and really complements my body. You can tie it as loose or as tight on your waist as you want!

I paired this top with Trinity faux leather skirt, but it also looks great with jeans and white trousers.

Speaking of faux leather skirts, I also have to share one of my top items in wardrobe - this JEZABEL faux leather midi skirt with a slit! If I could have only one item from the whole website, it will be this skirt!

It is sexy, yet appropriate for an office look to! I love it so much that I ordered another black one as a back up and waiting for the Jezebel in nude color to arrive soon as well! Best skirt I ever had! It gets sold out quickly, so do not miss out!

Theme 46. REVOLVE OUTFITS. My Summer Wardrobe

Dear Online Girlfriend, how have you been? How is summer treating you? The lockdowns are lifted in most cities, and we can finally shed our home clothes (mostly) and get dressed up and even go on a nice vacation!

It is not a secret that majority of my wardrobe is from Revolve. They have gorgeous clothes from great brands for any occasion, and I can always rely on them to have something for me, whether I am attending a summer wedding, going on a influencer trip to Bahamas or showing a million dollar apartment to my real estate clients. Wow, it sounds like I am bragging, but promise you, girlfriend, I am not. I just really need to make sure I look the part for every endeavor I am taking on, and lately I have been having a lot of different things to juggle.

Juggling between being a hardworking boss bee and weekending by the beach? You have to have some versatile shirts in your wardrobe!

I wear them over my bikinis, tuck in shorts for a casual brunch or with high waisted midi skirt for an office look. I got this pink Superdown shirt this June and it is so silky and pleasant to wear.

Talking more about looks that you can wear to an office! Being a real estate agent in NYC can be challenging and is stressful, but dressing up the part has always helped me to feel more confident. I absolutely love blazer dresses, and this stylish black Michael Costello Chase Jacket Dress is so fitting and unique. I actually also wore it to a theatre date night, and felt really beautiful.

I LOVE collections created by Revolve X Michael Costello and have so many pieces from the brand. This unique Chase black blazer dress is definitely one of my all time favorites. Michael Costello always fits perfectly and also, in my opinion, his collections are one of the most high quality and durable ones.

I don’t really wear pants in summer much as it is TOO HOT TO HANDLE this New York City heat, but light joggers are perfect for this weather. These khaki Orion joggers make me feel like I am Lara Croft of real estate :) With joggers and most pants I actually prefer to get XXS so it fits tighter, especially if they are high waisted.

Theme 44: BEST SWIMWEAR. Ouisisi via Amazon

Hello dear readers, casual Google searchers and my loyal INSTAFAM, I am kicking off this season with a plan to redesign my entire website and writing more (for the blog and for my novels). There will be some exciting changes. Just wanted to share this with you before I get to our delicious new theme! BEST SWIMWEAR!

Summer 2019 is officially in full swing, and many of us are frantically looking for new bikinis and one-pieces. Let’s be honest, social media has RUINED us and our wardrobes in a way. Have you posted a bikini from your last Mexico vacation on Instagram? Well, for the next destination, even if it is just a quick beach escape to Hamptons, you will probably want to get a brand new piece to pose, I mean, tan and swim in. Because wearing the same bikini few beach photos in a row is almost as bad as wearing the same gown to two weddings (and having pictures to prove the “horrid” fact!).

While you are allowed to splurge once in a while on some designer swimwear, it really is so much better finding a gorgeous quality piece for a very very affordable price. I recently discovered OUISISI brand on Amazon, and decided to try this classy elegant black&white one-piece.

It arrived super quickly as it is on Amazon Prime. I loved how it looked as a top worn with jeans and as a swimsuit.

This swimsuit has a very classic, almost glamorous look to it, but it is also perfect as an athletic swim as it has a very decent coverage, and is very comfortable. I am not going to lie, a lot of my swimsuits usually have MUCH less coverage and I am often afraid to accidentally flash someone whenever I wear my “risky pieces”. There is no such problem with this OUISISI swimsuit, and you can be confident that it will make you stand out on the beach without having to show a lot of skin!

I was actually really happy to discover that OUISISI also has the cutest maternity swimsuits! I know a lot of my readers are young mums or mums-to-be and it feels good to be able to share something that is so cheap and great and worthy to be discovered!
